iRacing Subscription for DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal
We have all seen on the news recently the devastation caused by the catastrophic earthquake that has struck Haiti. Estimates by the International Red Cross believe that around three million people have been affected by the quake, and that the disaster could eventually claim up to 200,000 lives – figures that are unimaginable to the majority of us.
Why is this getting a mention on a predominately motorsport related website? Because with your help, I want to do something to raise some much needed money to help aid those who are going through hell at the moment.
So starting today I have launched a listing on eBay for you to bid on, with 100% of the proceeds going to the DEC Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
This isn’t just any old tat you’ll be bidding on though. This is for an annual subscription to the online racing simulation iRacing.com which is worth $99.00, or approximately £60 in ‘old money.’ The listing finishes Thursday 4th February 2010 at 21:58 GMT and starts at just 0.99p.

Happy bidding!
Jargon bit: eBay listing is for a one year iRacing license. You will receive a subscription code via email when the listing concludes. Your account will be activated once you vist the iRacing website, where a credit card will need to be used to verify your details - but you won't be charged. Content will cost extra. Listing finishes Tuesday 4th February 2010 at 21:58 GMT.
